World Tuberculosis Day observed across the world

March 24 marks the World Tuberculosis Day observed across the world.

The World Tuberculosis (TB) Day was observed on Sunday in Pakistan and across the world.

This day is aimed at raising public awareness about the devastating health, social and economic consequences of tuberculosis and to step up efforts to end the global TB epidemic.

The theme of World TB Day 2024 is “Yes! We can end TB!”. This day conveys a message of hope that getting back-on-track to turn the tide against the TB epidemic is possible through high level leadership, increased investments and faster uptake of new WHO recommendations.
