Around 600 petrol stations sealed across the country
On Friday, Prime Minister Office declared the news of sealing 600 petrol stations nationwide. According to the officials, the owners were involved in smuggling and illegal selling of patrol. As a result, almost 4.5 million liters of petrol and diesel has been taken into custody.
According to sources, the crackdown was conducted by Customs department of Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). The owners are directed to provide complete record and documentation of purchasing and selling petrol in order to prove their innocence in given time period.
