Zil-Hajj moon sighted
A meeting of Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee chaired by Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman was held in Karachi on Friday, August 2 (29, Zulqaida,1440,Hijri) for sighting of the crescent of Zil-Hajj.
At the end of the meeting, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chief Mufti Munib-ur-Rehman announced, “the Zil Hajj moon has been sighted today. And therefore Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated across the country on Monday 12th of August“.
In this relation the Federal Government has already issued a notification for Eid holidays from 12-15 August.
