Xiaomi’s Redmi 8 about to be unveiled on 9th of Oct
Towards the end of August, Xiaomi unveiled Redmi Note 8 and Note 8 Pro and proved once again that it can bring flagship killer smartphones on a budget. Then came the Redmi 8A just a week ago and now we have the Chinese manufacturer’s official announcement that it’ll be unveiling the Redmi 8 in few days on October 9.
Xiami Redmi 8 will go on sale in India first before it can make it to other countries. The phone was already spotted on China Telecom’s official site earlier, following an appearance on TENNA’s listings, which already pointed to a global release just around the corner.
Aside from the spec sheet provided when Redmi 8 went through TENNA’s listings, we also caught a glimpse of some hands-on live photos of the phone. They confirmed the design and camera build, as well as the specs for the internals.
