PTI has filed a case on foreign funding against JUI F.

Pakistan’s current ruling party, Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) has submitted an application to the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). The application states that The chief of Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam, Fazal Ur Rehman, and his party leaders make often visits to Libya and Iraq. PTI demanded inquiry upon them for receiving funding from these countries.

They attached a copy of an interview given by their party member, Hafiz Hussain, who allegedly admitted to receiving foreign funding from those countries. PTI has filed similar cases against PMLN and PPP in the past too.

Meanwhile, a founding leader of PTI, Akbar S. Babar, demanded a transparent investigation of the case of foreign funding against PTI.
