Khokhar Palace demolished, 38 kanal government land recovered

LDA has demolished the Khokhar Palace located in Lahore.

Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has taken action against the illegal possession of Khokhar palace in Lahore. Almost 38 kanals of land has been recovered from Khokhar brother’s possession near Expo center Lahore.

The land under discussion was worth approximately 1.5 billion. LDA claims that they have sent many prior notices to the Khokhar brothers about the illegal possession but didn’t get any satisfactory response. Which eventually lead to the demolishing of constructions and recovery of land for government use.

PML-N former leaders Rana Sanaullah and Owais Laghari have condemned the act and called it to revenge from Nawaz Sharif and his party since the Khokhar brothers were very active workers and MNAs of PML-N.
