Facebook takes sweeping action against networks in Pakistan, India for ‘coordinated inauthentic behaviour

Facebook has taken down 712 accounts 319 pages from India and Pakistan due to their authorized behaviour and spamming. These accounts and pages violated the policy of facebook by their coordinated inauthentic behaviour and spam.

The takedown was due to the network of fake accounts that they were using to conceal their original identity and made these pages look independent when they were not.

It was said that these pages show themselves as independent but originally they are a part of a proper operated group and are therefore being removed.
