China at UN delays bid to blacklist JeM leader Masood Azhar
China put a hold on the request put forward by Britain, France and the US to add the Masood Azhar, the leader of Jaish-e-Muhammad to the terror black list of UN.
It was not the first time but third time that the UN Security Council was considering a plan to put Azhar on blacklist, which would immediately cause him to ban travel around the world and freeze assets.
China has already blocked these requests earlier in 2016 and 2017, however the group itself was added in the terror blacklist in 2001.
