Hot and dry weather expected across country, says MET office
The heatwave across the metropolis is expected to relent by Sunday evening with temperatures expected to go back to normal, the MET office said.
After a week of above 40°C heat in Karachi, the maximum temperature is expected to remain between 35°C and 37°C, the MET office said.
Temperatures in the city soared to 41°C on Saturday with Karachi residents faced immense problems due to prolonged power outage throughout the city as the weather became excruciating hot.
Karachi-Electric in wake of the situation caused by weather sent messages to citizens about load management of electric supply.
Residents of the metropolis faced more than 10 hours of power outage on Friday.
According to the MET office, weather across the country is expected to remain hot and dry.
