Akhtar Mengal announces separation from government alliance

Sardar Akhtar Mengal, head of Balochistan National Party Mengal, in his address to the National Assembly on June 17, had announced his separation from the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) led government alliance with the federal government.

After the announcement, PTI has started efforts to reverse this step. A group of leaders will meet the BNP leaders to discuss resolution of the issue.
