Corona Vaccine and its side effects

Coronavirus has been a roller coaster ride that is just not coming to an end. First, the virus hits, then there is a new strain more powerful than before and now it is being said that even being vaccinated won’t reduce the chances of getting affected. That means bringing a vaccine won’t bring life to normal. We will have to keep practicing social distancing and still wear masks. The vaccine will only reduce the intensity of illness and prevent people from getting on ventilators or getting seriously infected. So, getting the vaccine does not mean that you will not get or transfer the virus. Although it’s scary, it does not mean that vaccine will not be of any use. It will weaken the virus intensity so the basic focus should be on getting more and more people vaccinated as soon as possible. That will weaken the virus attack and eventually end it.

Corona virus vaccine from SinoPharma, China has arrived in Pakistan and the vaccination process has started from 2nd February. According to the official, priority will be given to the frontline workers and senior citizens. Before the arrival of vaccine, Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the health minister of Punjab, notified that people should get vaccinated at their own risk.

In her statement, she said that the vaccines may carry a lot of side effects. She mentioned that the news of people dying after getting the vaccine is disturbing and that they won’t force any one to get vaccinated you people will have the choice of getting it at their own risk.  She further mentioned that the government will inform people about the side effects so they can make decisions with an aware mind.
