US deploying carrier bombers to Middle East to deter Iran

An American defence official told the press that the U.S administration is posting a carrier strike group and bombers to the Middle East in response to the Iranian and Iranian proxy’s “clear indications” that were plotting to attack U.S forces in the region.

The defence official desired for anonymity while discussing sensitive information. It is was told that the Pentagon agreed to the deployments and that the U.S forces at sea and on the land were thought to be their potential targets. There were no further specifications given by the official.

The U.S is the deploying the USS Abraham Lincoln Carrier Strike Group and a bomber task force to the U.S central command region to warn them by sending a message to the Iranian regime that any attack from them would be answered with a more powerful force from their side.
