Indian tycoon Ratan Tata passes away
Indian tycoon Ratan Tata passes away at a Mumbai hospital on late Wednesday 9th October. He has died at the age of 86, aanounced Tata Group.
Ratan Tata was one of India’s most internationally recognised business leaders. He led the Tata group conglomerate for more than two decades.
The Tata Group is one of India’s largest companies, with annual revenues in excess of $100bn (£76.5bn).
In a statement announcing Tata’s death, the current chairman of Tata Sons described him as a “truly uncommon leader”.
