US drone strikes near Pak Afghan border killing 5

Five people were killed in a drone strike on the Afghanistan side of the Pak-Afghan border. The sources have reported that the drone fired two missiles at a house in the Laman Area. It killed a commander and another man who was affiliated with a certain group.

Earlier this month, Donald Trump, the US president revoked a policy that the CIA to account for civilian deaths from drone strikes. It could give the CIA greater latitude to conduct strikes as Trump increasingly relies on the spy agency rather than the military for lethal drone operations.
