FIA arrests eight Chinese and 4 Pakistani’s for trafficking girls
The Federal Investigation Agency on Monday raided a racket of Chinese nationals involved in trafficking Pakistani Girls to China by contracting marriages.
The deputy director of FIA, Jamil Ahmad Khan Mayo said that raid against the foreigners’ involved illegal activities in the country. They arrested eight Chinese nationals from Lahore Airport and other areas on the charges of trafficking young girls to China after marrying them. The suspects with the help of Pakistani agents also contracted marriages with local girls and trafficked them to China where these girls for forced into prostitution.
It is said that the suspected leader is the son of the Punjab Police Officer. He had fled when a raid was conducted for his arrest. The authorities further confirmed that the suspects would send Rs. 50,000/- each to the families of the girls who were trafficked.
