181 children positive for HIV virus in Larkana

The increase in number of Children being HIV positive have been reported in Larkana. 181 cases has been reported which include children between the ages of 2 months to 12-years old.

In-charge of Aids Control Programme, Dr. Sikander told the authorities that over 5000 people were screened for the virus. The ultimate reason for the wide spread of the virus has been reported by using a syringe more than once.

Last month, a doctor was arrested by the police who was suspected to be responsible for the wide spread of the virus all over the Ratodero district in Larkana. Police reported that the doctor himself was a patient of HIV Aids. Although the doctor returned the allegations against him as a conspiracy and said that he was not aware of any such thing.
